George Jansen, a guy who came to this party of mine in 1975, wrote it into the climax of his latest novel, "Haunts" available on Kindle etc. It's a really fun, spooky, Bukowskiesque vision of the freakier parts of 1970's S.F. with memorable characters and shivery overtones.
